Vice President, Operations
Margaret joined the Hoopis Performance Network in 2009 with over fifteen years of experience in managing operations within the financial services industry.
She is responsible for advising the President & CEO on daily operations of the company. Margaret is a Certified Coach and Certified Trainer and holds a degree from the University of Illinois.
When Margaret isn’t working with the team to be the preeminent training and development company, she enjoys spending time with her family, being a die-hard Cubs fan or attending a great concert...live music is a passion!
By way of giving back to the community, Margaret serves on the Board of Directors for JOURNEYS — The Road Home which is a non-profit agency that provides shelter, social services and housing to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in 37 towns in north/northwest suburban Cook County.
Matthew’s love for film began early in his life, and he is excited to take the next steps in his film career with Hoopis Performance Network. Having a constant drive for excellence in all his work, HPN has provided a perfect environment for that attitude.
Outside of work, Matthew spends his time training for marathons, playing the cello, producing all sorts of freelance films, and drinking whisky.

Josie joined Hoopis Performance Network in October of 2016 as the Client Service and Sales Coordinator. She brings strong experience in customer care in her work with HPN clients as well as in her support of all sales initiatives where she works directly with the Vice President of Sales. Josie is also currently focused on finishing her degree in Business Management.
Outside of work and school, Josie enjoys reading, baking, and babysitting small infants. Josie is passionate about volunteering with the Girl Scouts, and helping develop the next generation of leaders.
Jaime loves everything numbers. She lives with her husband, two teenagers, and dog in Northbrook, IL.

Client Service & Marketing Coordinator
Maureen joined Hoopis Performance Network in June 2016. She has more than ten years of experience in the insurance industry, working for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, Northwestern Mutual and more recently in the financial services field as the Manager of Marketing Services for Lifetime Strategies Group (LSG), a Member of John Hancock Financial Network.
At LSG, she built the company’s marketing department and ran weekly sales training utilizing the Hoopis University Facilitator Led Resources as well at other marketing and best practices programs. Prior to her insurance career, Maureen spent two years in Midland, Texas as a News Producer for KWES-TV.
A graduate from Loyola University New Orleans with a BA in Broadcast Production, she also has had formal training in improvisation, graduating from The Second City Training Center and iO Chicago.
Dana joined the HPN marketing team in 2106 as lead web designer. Dana brings many years of experience in both digital and print design, including web development. Throughout his career he has been a mainstay in product development, project management, and insightful marketing strategies.
Dana also has a passion for music and enjoys playing guitar and collecting music. A artist at heart, he has been known to occasionally create a painting to hang on the wall or give out to friends and family.
Since 2009, Melissa has had the privilege of cultivating enduring relationships with HPN’s clients and partners. She trained in film and theatre production and holds a Master’s Degree in Directing from the University of Essex in London. With a diverse background that blends media and communications expertise with over 10 years of service in the financial services industry, Melissa is uniquely positioned to oversee the HPN University client experience as well as the delivery of HPN’s extensive content library.
Melissa lives in Chicago with her husband Jason and their two adorable little boys.

Brandon is a young videographer and Illinois native that has been working for years to put his passion for storytelling onto screens large and small. Since starting at Hoopis Performance Network, he has found an engaging and stimulating environment that fits his creativity and drive for constant improvement.
Brandon fills his free time with all sorts of hobbies, most of which can be enhanced by his love of filmmaking and allow him to grow professionally even when having fun. He frequently plays guitar and drums with his friends and family, Ultimate frisbee with an assortment of groups and leagues, and also directs short films and music videos. Brandon's education focused heavily on narrative film, so even his smallest projects are as cinematic as he can make them.

Miguel Taveras has over two decades of experience in sales, sales management and distribution development in the life, health insurance and Financial Services. Miguel has developed hundreds of leaders, teams and businesses multinational. Miguel has a passion for learning and development; he is an active member of NAIFA, GAMA and LIMRA Miguel is past chair for the LIMRA diversity committee; a group of peer companies sharing how to target the diverse markets in America. He holds a business degree and the Chattered Leadership Fellow designation (CLF®) from the American College of Financial Services. In addition, Miguel will complete the LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow (LLIF) in 2018.
Miguel was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in New Jersey. Miguel is fully bilingual. He's a proud father of three children; Miguel Jr., Diana and Gia. Miguel enjoys Yoga, running, traveling, reading, and holds a private pilot licenses from the FFA in the United States and the DGAC in Chile.
Ted holds the honor of saying he is Hoopis Performance Network's first full-time employee. Joining the budding HPN in late 2005, Ted has worked to build and grow the internal production department in to a world-class operation; delivering the highest quality learning experience to the industry. Prior to joining HPN, Ted worked as Director of Communications, as well as, taught video production in the Public Education sector and interned at a prestigious Los Angeles reality television company. Bringing a 10+ year background of Video Production, Web Programming, Marketing, Design and Project Management to the table, Ted is excited to continue the innovative work, and positive impact, the Hoopis Performance Network provides to the industry.
Ted currently resides in Chicago's "Wrigleyville" neighborhood, where he enjoys the music scene, night-life and diverse foods the city has to offer.
